Louise Bynglouisebyng.co.uk

I'm Louise Byng, a recent (ish) graduate from The Arts University (College) at Bournemouth. I currently work as a freelance illustrator in my homeland of the midlands as well as acting as the Assistant Editor for Another Escape magazine. Tackling a variety of subjects I use graphite and vibrant pencil crayons to create reflective drawings, built upon the use of strong expressive mark-making. To me every drawing is a 'wild frontier' and a form of cautious play, gradually feeling my way around the page with each stroke until the image has been built up. Having developed a recent interest in portraiture, the images here show my experiments in using boldness of colour to enhance the character of the subject in a distinctive manner. Focusing on current affairs, I try to use illustration as a form of timely documentation, creating work on what is happening both around me and more broadly in terms of society and culture in order to strike up a meaningful dialogue with others (now made easier through the instantaneous sharing of the www). Drawing is my passion because I find it continually challenging. There is always more to learn, to try out, to be proud of and to fail at, and my tactile aesthetic reflects a respect for drawing as a process, not just a finished product.

Paul-Cristian Muresanbehance.net/paulcristian

My name is Paul-Cristian Muresan. I am a street artist from Romania. My work includes Graffiti, Tattoos, drawings, sketches and some airbrushing techinque. The main focus about my style is to represent the most insane aspect of every single detail that i can find in my life. Madness of collors, crazy flow of lines, and the never ending lack of selfcontrol when i'm in front of a wall, paper or skin. (everything can and it will be used as a support for drawing).

Simon Abbott | toughweak.co.uk

Hello i’m Simon Abbott, a freelance illustrator and graduate of the Southampton Solent Illustration course. I am a member of the wonderful illustration collective Art School Disco artschooldisco.tumblr.com

My latest personal project has been to write, illustrate and publish a small story online in three days. It was my first foray into sequential narrative and a lot of fun! The time constraint helped me keep the lines simple and the colours bold. charlieandthecloud.tumblr.com

These can be viewed further at my website.

Flora Jayne | florajaynecamcho.tumblr.com

Hello I’m Flora Jayne 22. I am currently in my Third year studying Illustration at Brighton University enjoying every minute of it and embracing the creativity that engulfs Brighton.

My work entails a story behind the concept. It is gritty and political but I like to call it ‘rough and ready’. My Process and techniques are experimenting with mixed media materials using screen-printing, photography, and drawing. I love looking at current issues that affect us in society for example class, social housing and consumerism. Grayson Perry is the biggest inspiration towards my work, as he looks at the world with an open mind and tackles taboo issues such as ‘Class’ and ‘Taste’.
