Ollie McAinsh
ILLUSTRATOR/ANIMATOR

http://o-mac.tumblr.com/

Ollie McAinsh is a student of Illustration and Animation from Winchester School of Art, with a bountiful range of experiments and design processes available for viewing in his online portfolio.
Admittedly lacking in confidence with his work at the beginning of his degree course, it is evident that he has come along was with his practice- with great playfulness and eccentricities frequent throughout his work.
A particular favourite feature from his online blog is the work produced for a studio office that Ollie was working in- in which he illustrated a set of three seven-foot flamingos onto the manager's glass wall- undoubtedly a fantastic, and totally unique talking point.

Liron Kroll
ANIMATOR

http://www.lironkroll.com/

Liron Kroll is an animation, motion-graphics and photographic designer based in London, having recently completed an MA in Communication Art and Design at the Royal College of Art.
With a unique and creative photo montage style, Liron's work really stands out- conceptually and visually both engaging and intriguing- with themes of normality, the mundane, and social structure making for some truly compelling viewing.
With clients such as Channel 4 and Channel 2 Israel, and work featured in Computer Arts, Adobe Design Achievement awards and more, Liron's success and talent is evident- for we are sure her work will receive continued acclaim for years to come.
From her stunning online portfolio, one of our favourite projects is her latest, 'High Expectations', which is soon to be released. To see an extract of the animation so far, follow the link below:

Katherine Murray-Clark
ANIMATOR // ILLUSTRATOR

Katherine Murray-Clark is a recent graduate of Graphic Design from Nottingham Trent University, having specialised in Motion Design and Illustration- with an impressive and creative blend of approaches and techniques in her portfolio including tactile collage techniques, illustration and vector design to create varied and visually exciting Motion Design and Animations.
Along with her evident talent working in Motion Graphics, Katherine's portfolio shows her natural abilities in design- her cover designs for Roald Dahl's 'James and the Giant Peach' and Gabriel Garcia Marquez's 'One Hundred years of Solitude' both being exquisitely crafted with tactile materials and collage techniques- giving a unique and personal human aesthetic.
One of the factors we liked most about Katherine's wonderful online portfolio was her display of screenshots which are placed alongside her Motion pieces- being able to see the slides broken down into seperate images gives a fascinating insight into her design process.

Susanna Wilson
ANIMATOR // ILLUSTRATOR

http://www.behance.net/susanna_caroline

Susanna Wilson is a recent VisCom: Illustration (with Animation) graduate of Loughborough University, whose design work consists of playful and humorous imagery, in which she creates simplistic collage and ink Illustrations which are both memorable and unique. Her drawings are often derived from narratives and stories with strong concepts which often continue through a series, such as our favourite project, Unusual Laws- in which she creates a series of images focusing on the unusual and bizarre laws which are still in use today- for example, "In Fairbanks, Alaska, it is illegal to give a moose a beer". No, we didn't know that either. Susanna clearly has a great future in Illustration, her concepts and ideas alone being inspired, thoughtful and fun- with a strong design style that is sure to set her apart from the rest.

Jonathan McKee
ANIMATOR // GRAPHIC DESIGNER

http://jonathan-mckee.com

Jonathan McKee is a recent graduate from the Design for Visual Communication degree at the University of Ulster, Northern Ireland, with an amazing portfolio of varied and skilled work with fantastic award-achievements to match. Graduating with a first degree honours, Jonathan's work is of an exceptionally-high quality, filled with humour, sophisticated graphic design typography and layout, and, in general, a naturally perceptive visual communicator which great creative talent. Among his achievements, Jonathan was awarded with the first prize yellow pencil at D&AD in 2011 and the Walt Disney Company EMEA for his character design and animation 'The Dreamcatcher' (which can be seen on his online portfolio, follow links at the top of the page). However, one of our favourite projects is "Coalition of the heart" in which Jonathan uses animation to depict the ever-blossoming "love" between the current coalition Government which followed after the election of Conservative leader and Prime Minister, David Cameron, and fellow coalition leader, The Liberal Democrat, Nick Clegg- with great paradoy humour, we certainly recommned a viewing.

Wentao (Marvin) Ma.
GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Wentao Ma is a young, and brilliantly talented New Media degree student, currently at the University of Leeds (...but you can call him Marvin).

Alone, Marvin's CV is impressive enough. At just nineteen years of age, he has executed a vast variety of projects and brief in various disciplines to a professional, and memorable, standard- working as an Animatior and Graphic Designer in the 2008 Bejing Olympics being one of his most notable creative achievements to date.

Fortunately, Marvin's portfolio backs up his credentials to an even greater extent- with a clearly sophisticated level of web-based design know-how, at this early stage, things are certainly looking positive for Marvin's design future.

Each design, from branding to promotional video work for charities, Marvin clearly is no "one trick pony", each design outcome being unique and poignant, sophisticated and crisp.

We certainly recommend a closer look into Marvin's work- particularly recommending the 'Tomorrow Is Another Day' animation in Vimeo- skillfull and beautiful, a truly stunning design from a truly talented designer.
