Issue #3 Magazine | Update

We would just like to take this opportunity to say thanks to everyone who has taken the time to send over a response to our call for submissions to be featured in issue #3 of our magazine - the deadline for this is now closed.

We have had an amazing response, and have actually received a lot more than our original target number of features that we were intending to have for this issue - but not to worry! This does mean however, that we will be bringing forward the release of issue #4 of our magazine to be a lot sooner, so if you missed the deadline for issue #3, then get your submission in now and be one of the first people to be considered to be featured in issue #4. All of the details about this is over on our Call For Submissions page.

Everyone who has sent us a submission for issue #3 should already have been contacted with more information, so if you submitted your work (before midnight on 9th April), and you haven't heard from us, let us know as soon as possible and we will look into it for you.

The release of issue #3 will be here by the end of April, with the chance to pre order yourself a copy coming very soon, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for our official release dates announcement.

In the meantime, we do still have issue #1 and issue #2 of our magazine available on our online store, as well as our amazing screen prints series (which comes with a free mag too!). All of the funds received from these will go into the creation of issue #3 and future magazine releases, so be sure to check these out and help us keep making ImagineThat possible - imaginethat.bigcartel.com.

Update | 15/06/2012

Hi folks,

Just a quick update to let you guys know where we're at with ImagineThat, and where things will go from here.

Today is our 1 year anniversary, and looking back over the past 12 months we have achieved an awful lot and are proud of it. We couldn't have done it without everyone involved with us, so we would just like to say thanks, and we hope you stick around to help up get bigger and better.

Over the summer we're planning on really pushing what we have established, and bringing you more ways to get involved with us and have your work seen. During the next few weeks, we will be making changes to the structure of our website so make sure you keep a look out for announcements.

Issue #3
It's here! Over the next week, we will be announcing ways that you could be featured in the next issue of our magazine, along with a competition to design the cover and a discussion for you to be involved with. Issue #1 and #2 are still available from our online store.

Screen Print Series
We recently held a competition calling for submissions for you to design us a screen print. We received some truly amazing entries, and are currently in the process of getting these printed by us, along with producing the supporting publication that will come with any orders of there. We're looking to spend the next month working on this, and will be bringing these to our online store in the near future.

Update

Hi guys,

We're just sending out a quick update to let you know what's going on with Imagine That, and what we have planned for the future.

Due to the ever growing interest in our collaborative platform, we like ensure that we are giving to you our very best in terms of what we have to offer. We began with our online blog back in June, showcasing skills and talent from todays creative students and graduates from all over the UK, and even from other parts of the world. This idea turned out to be a great success, and everyone involved really took to it, and helped us spread the word. Following this, we then decided to push what we had developed into a printed publication back in September as something that would work along side our blog. The success and interest with our first issue quickly lead on to us producing a second, taking on board everyones feedback ensuring that it would be bigger and better than the first. Again, the success and interest with this means that we have plans of producing a third issue early this summer.

So what next?
Due to the success of our magazines, we decided to take a step back in terms of where we are at and review, and have decided to focus our attention back into our online blog. This is because we want to ensure that it is on top form, and continues to grow over the months to come, catering for both new and old faces. So as from 20th March, there will be a complete shift in the way that we do things, bringing to you more features and more opportunities. All this will begin with a change to the format of our features, as well as a facelift to the blog itself. This will change during the first 5 days of the shift, so be sure to keep checking back to see where we're heading.

Did you know?
Everyone who bought the second issue of our magazine have already had an insight into this, but we're pleased to also announce the development of a new format of Imagine That which will run along side what we have already established. We won't give too much away as of yet, but here's a sneak peak (it's pretty easy to figure out...).

We would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved with us here at Imagine That. If it wasn't for you guys we wouldn't be where we're at right now, with some pretty awesome plans for the future! We hope you continue to be involved, and be sure to help us spear the word.

Imagine That Issue 2

As many of you will already know, we launched issue 2 of our magazine in February coming back after listening to your feedback with an issue bigger and better than the first. With more pages allowing us to feature more amazing work, along with the discussion of course.

Along with all pre ordered copies of the magazine, we offered a free screen print designed especially for us by Emma Hopkins - behance.net/ehopkinsdesign. As with the first issue, we asked for people to take a quick snap of their copy of the magazine and share it with us, which we like to share back with you guys.

Here's a collection of ones that we have received for issue 2. All images that we receive for this are uploaded to our Facebook like page (click here to see more). If you have a copy of the magazine and would like to add an image to the collection, all you have to do is take a photo and let us know about it - you can email us it, tweet it, share it on facebook, etc. If you haven't bought your copy yet, these are available from our online store imaginethat.bigcartel.com.

Issue 2

We are pleased to announce the release date for issue 2 of our magazine!

Would you like to be featured in Issue 2 of our magazine?


If you didn't already know, we're currently looking out for designers/projects to feature in the second issue of our magazine. After the success of the first magazine, we're more than excited to produce the second one, making it bigger and better than the first one.

We are currently running the competition to design the cover of the magazine, full details can be found on the link below.

If you'd like us to consider you to be featured in the second magazine, then we like it when you come to us. You can either,

• Comment on this post leaving your URL, and any preferred projects you wish for us to consider.
• Tweet us with a link to your portfolio and explain you'd like to be considered.
• Send us an email with the subject set as 'Issue 2', and provide us with your URL, and any preferred projects you wish for us to consider.
• Post or comment on our Facebook page with your URL, any preferred projects you'd like us to consider, and that you'd like to be considered for a feature in the second magazine.

The submissions are open until we have enough people to feature in the second magazine, so if you would like to be considered then send in any submissions as soon as possible. The route you choose to submit is up to you, although we do prefer the email route (this isn't the only ones that will be chosen though if you'd prefer either of the other routes).

It's competition time guys!

Things are evolving here at ImagineThat and we are developing more ways in which you could get involved with us. Due to the fantastic success of our first issue of ImagineThat magazine, we are now developing issue number 2, for which we need your imagination and skill to design our front cover. We intend for this issue to be bigger and better than the first and have therefore decided on the theme for the cover to be 'BIG'.
