Samantha Barber is a Graphic Design student at The University of West England, Bristol. Her work is an extraordinary mix of themes and aesthetic outcomes which has helped to create a curiously diverse portfolio which satisfies her notable love of the "interdisciplinary aspect" of graphic design- in which she works in both web and print-based design. As previously mentioned, despite a varied portfolio of work, Samantha appears to have a particular interest in travel, with projects including themes of migration, homesickness, and Istanbul (image featured above)- the latter of which is certainly one of our favourite projects- in which she records conversations with Istanbul Residents in elaborately-decorated books (taking inspiration from the Koran and the city of Istanbul) to create a beautifully-crafted series.
