Jake Townsend is a Graphic Design student from the University of Lincoln, with a diverse and exciting portfolio and body of work. Jake showcases his talents in all aspects of his design practice, as is evident with his own words, "I am as comfortable with a pen and pencil as I am with a camera and mac"- a true asset to his design projects.
Jake's online portfolio demonstrates the aforementioned versatility with great finesse and style. Largely working in print, his work is vibrant and often playfully creative.
One of our particular favourite is his 'James and the Giant Peach' project, in which he created a hypothetical book cover design for Puffin books- taking content of the renowned and well-loved tale into a new visual dynamic with creative use of type and paper craft materials.
