Naomi Farrar is a current BA (Hons) Graphic Design student at Leeds College of Art, progressing onto her third and final year this September. Naomi's online portfolio showcases her wide variety of skills in her the Graphic Design field- from Typography to Packaging, Illustration to Promotion, her level of experimentation and design process is truly inspiring.
Through her aforementioned experimentation, we feel that Naomi's work displays strong capabilities in various fields- her hand-drawn typography exquisitely detailed, her layouts and compositions bold and stylish, along, of course, with creative and playful concepts that really bring her designs to life.
From her entire collection of work displayed in her portfolio, what we consider to be her strongest piece was a response to a live brief for Whisky manufacturers, Whyte & MacKay through YCN- helping to promote and raise awareness of their whiskey liqueur, Glayva, to a young professional target market. Alongside two of her fellow students, she collaborated in creating the packaging design along with a cocktail book, as well as creating a print and television advertisement campaign (pictures shown above and below).
We are confident that Naomi's wonderfully creative talent will grow further as her final year of study approaches, and we wish her the best of luck for the future.
